Cloud & DevOps Engineering
Built for 99.9% Uptime at Scale

Multi-cloud infrastructure, load balancing, and SRE that keep products up at scale

We run production infrastructure across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and DigitalOcean — and have for a decade. The backends we operate serve millions of monthly messages and API calls behind load balancers and auto-scaling groups: exam-day traffic spikes for TestReach (ACCA, British Council) on its Azure + AWS hybrid infrastructure, and a zero-to-100K-user launch for Genius AI in three weeks.

Our philosophy is boring, reliable infrastructure: everything as code, observability from day one, capacity planned before launch, and cost reviewed monthly. You get architecture decided by engineers who carry the pager — not slideware.

What You Ship With NerdDevs

  • Multi-cloud architecture and zero-downtime migrations (AWS, Azure, GCP, DigitalOcean)
  • Load-balanced, auto-scaling backends that absorb traffic spikes without waking anyone up
  • Kubernetes or right-sized container deployments with infrastructure as code
  • CI/CD pipelines with preview environments, blue/green deploys, and one-click rollbacks
  • Monitoring, alerting, on-call runbooks, and monthly cloud cost optimization

What We Build

Six focus areas where we bring deep, shipped-in-production experience.

Cloud Architecture & Migration

Green-field architecture or phased migrations between providers and off on-prem — planned for zero downtime and no surprise bills.

Load Balancing & Auto-Scaling

ALB/NLB, Nginx, and HAProxy setups with health checks, auto-scaling groups, and capacity planning tested against real traffic patterns.

Kubernetes & Containers

EKS, AKS, GKE, or plain Docker on DigitalOcean when Kubernetes is overkill — we size the platform to the product, not the hype.

Infrastructure as Code

Terraform and CloudFormation so every environment is reproducible, reviewable, and one command away from disaster recovery.

CI/CD Pipelines

GitHub Actions or Bitbucket Pipelines: build, test, scan, deploy — with preview environments and rollbacks your team can trust at 2 AM.

SRE, Monitoring & Cost Control

Structured logs, metrics, tracing, alerting, on-call runbooks, and a monthly cost review that routinely cuts 20–40% of cloud spend.

Our Stack

  • AWS
  • Microsoft Azure
  • Google Cloud
  • DigitalOcean
  • Kubernetes
  • Docker
  • Terraform
  • Nginx / HAProxy
  • GitHub Actions
  • Redis
  • CloudFront / Cloudflare
  • Datadog / Grafana

Who This Is For

  • Products expecting (or already hit by) traffic spikes their current setup cannot absorb
  • Teams migrating between cloud providers or off a single point of failure
  • Startups whose cloud bill is growing faster than their revenue
  • Companies without in-house DevOps who need production kept up 24/7

Frequently Asked Questions

Which cloud provider should we use — AWS, Azure, GCP, or DigitalOcean?

We are provider-neutral and run production on all four. AWS for breadth and enterprise ecosystems, Azure when you live in the Microsoft stack, GCP for data-heavy workloads, DigitalOcean when a lean product needs predictable pricing. We recommend based on your workload, team, and budget — and we have migrated clients in every direction.

How do you handle sudden traffic spikes and load balancing?

Layered: a load balancer (ALB/NLB, Nginx, or HAProxy) with health checks in front, auto-scaling groups behind it, Redis caching and queues to flatten bursts, and load tests before launch so limits are known in advance. This is how TestReach survives exam-day surges and how Genius AI absorbed 100K+ users in its first three weeks.

Can you reduce our cloud bill?

Usually by 20–40%. The routine offenders: over-provisioned instances, missing reserved/spot coverage, orphaned volumes and snapshots, chatty cross-AZ traffic, and logs stored at premium tiers. We audit first, show the savings per line item, then implement — no savings, no fee conversations are welcome.

Can you take over infrastructure another team built?

Yes, it is common. We start with a two-week audit — architecture, security groups, IAM, backups, single points of failure — then deliver a written risk register and stabilisation plan before changing anything in production.

Do you offer 24/7 monitoring and on-call support?

Yes, as a monthly SRE retainer: uptime monitoring, alert response, incident management, patching, backup verification, and a monthly reliability and cost review with your team.
